BLUES GUITARIST:

After winning the 2009 Printemps Bourges/FNAC Découvertes Competition, my group (http://myspace.com/Vidableu) and I decided that it was time to add a guitarist. Vidableu is searching for a guitarist in the Haute-Normandie region (Rouen, Evreux, Vernon, etc.), who is desiring to be a permanent member of a solid, organised, serious and professional music group. We have played together since 2003. Here is what Vidableu is looking for:

*MUST be at least 21 years old.

*MUST play WELL the blues, but at the same time, must be versatile and have the ability to play many genres (jazz, latin rhythms, retro soul/funk, rock). The more standards you know, the better.

*MUST have a passport and be available for both the group’s rehearsals and concerts. (Concerts are paid and declared, and many times require travel all round France, as well as outside of France)

*MUST have the ability to adlib riffs and melodies. Must have ability to compose an original song. Speaking/understanding or even singing in English is a BIG PLUS, but not required.
*Hard drugs like cocaine, speed or heroine ARE NOT accepted. Roll all the spliffs you want, and as long as you are not a designated driver, drink all the alcohol you want, but NOT HARD SH*T!
We just began recording our first album and currently working out the distribution and tour options–so we need a guitarist, male or female, who is serious, organised, professional and RELIABLE. Concerts are paid–and our wages are declared.

ALTO SAXO, TRUMPET, FLUTE, PERCUSSSION (BONGOS/CONGOS, BATA, TABLA, ETC):

Looking for musicians in/around Paris or Normandie for RECORDING ONLY. SPEAKING/UNDERSTANDING English is a BIG PLUS. Tasks are playing riffs to songs that have already been written and composed, however we do not mind input and always down to hear/play compositions that other musicans present to us. The more standards you know, the better. Touring not required. Contract wages.
